BBC 一檔節目將在下周調查 Samsung Galaxy S 4 剩餘儲存空間議題

繼微軟 Surface RT 平板電腦遭指內部剩餘儲存空間與標示有落差後，現在輪到 Samsung Galaxy S 4 接受檢驗。下周 BBC 一檔以消費者權益為主題的節目 -- 看門狗（Watchdog），將會聚焦智慧型手機標示容量與實際間的差異問題，指出 Galaxy S 4 16GB 版本有將近一半的儲存空間被系統與內建軟體占用的事實。且根據英國零售商 Clove 說法，手機內僅留給消費者 9.5GB 的剩餘容量。這可用空間大幅少於標示，其實已算是 Android 平台手機的通病，在下方更多資訊的連結內，你將會看到 Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx 16 GB 版神奇地只剩下 8GB（那應該稱為 8GB 版了吧！）。雖然手機製造商辯稱提供了 microSD 記憶卡槽，讓消費者可自行擴充最大 64GB，但有些程式根本無法安裝在記憶卡上。

BBC 節目主持人 Anne Robinson 在本周預告下集內容時提到：「Samsung 宣稱 Galaxy 新手機擁有超大儲存空間，但他們忘了提到什麼？」雖然我們使用者可能早已習慣這些既存事實了，但不妨先跳轉全文觀賞節目預告，有空的話節目會在下周四凌晨三點撥出（8PM GMT），到時候可以點擊來源連結觀賞，讓我們重新思考這個問題。
