傳統硬碟當外接式硬碟好嗎？

我的比電硬碟一直出問題
第一次送完原廠後回來不到一個月就掛了
賣我電腦的人說可能原廠沒有幫我換硬碟(還在保固期)
只是幫我重灌而以，因為第二次是連開機都沒辦法
硬碟壞的很嚴重很多資料救不出來
因為本身所學的東西電腦壞了就跟沒命了一樣
所以他建議我換固態硬碟，在跑圖的時候會順很多
然後電腦本身的那顆硬碟就直接拿出來當外接式硬碟使用
我想請問電腦本身的那顆硬碟拿出來當外接式硬碟用會不會很容易壞掉？
像是常常移動拿過來拿過去的這樣，是不是很容易壞軌
請懂電腦的人給我一點建議拜託><
