【綜合報導】美國一名有遺傳性疾病唐氏症的男子史塔克羅薩（Jon Stoklosa），克服先天的若干缺陷，成為舉重比賽冠軍選手。他不只在特殊奧運會獲得金牌，還常擊敗一堆身體沒有缺陷的舉重好手。
 
現年31歲的史塔克羅薩，從12歲開始與兄弟一起練習舉重，一年後就能舉起84公斤，16歲時能舉起102公斤。他1999年在特殊奧運會獲得一面金牌，後來就開始參加正常人的舉重比賽。最近，他在紐約舉行的一場比賽獲得第3名。
 
他的父親說，在史塔克羅薩的成長過程中，一向以正常人的標準來要求他，才能鍛鍊出好身手。
