農委會：台灣仍為狂犬病非疫國

衛生署疾病管制局今天發布，台灣南部一名菲律賓外勞感染狂犬病病例。調查顯示，病患來台前在菲律賓被犬隻咬傷而罹病，入境台灣後並無接觸國內動物，也未無至野外活動，純屬境外移入的人類狂犬病病例。

農委會稍晚發布新聞稿表示，菲律賓籍男子感染狂犬病屬境外移入個案，台灣為狂犬病非疫國，請國人安心，但仍請飼主加強寵物狂犬病預防注射。如發現不法走私行為，請撥打防檢局檢舉走私專線電話：0800-039131，以確保國內動物健康及維護公共衛生安全。
