請問手機網路流量如何計算

現在我的手機的網路是吃到飽的
可是我實際使用網路也不多
只有看看line wechat的訊息或是股票
在家都用wifi
而且一年有3個月時間不在台灣
想要取消網路吃到飽改用使用多少就繳多少的
請問流量是怎麼計算的呢
如果apple的手機多工沒關掉是不是如果我開10個軟體他就10個都在計算流量
