三星設基金會 拚「創新經濟」

韓聯社13日報導，南韓最大財團三星集團13日表示，將成立以促進南韓經濟成長為宗旨的基金會，以配合政府推動「創新經濟」。

三星說，三星研究基金會（Samsung Research Foundation ）預定6月開始運作，將支持基本科學、材料工程，以及資訊與通訊科技的研究與發展。

三星集團將在2022年以前，提供1.5兆韓元（13.4億美元）給該基金會，其中今年將提供3,000億韓元。三星將聘請首爾大學工程教授崔陽熙（音譯）出任基金會會長。

這個計畫顯然符合南韓總統朴槿惠發展「創新經濟」的願景；創新經濟主張以資訊科技為促進經濟成長的主要工具。

創新經濟是朴槿惠的重大經濟政策之一，目標是藉由創造新且發明性的事業機會來提振經濟，並透過結合資訊與其他產業來創造更多就業機會。

該基金會將從7月起接受研究人員的資助申請，通過的計畫將從11月起開始執行。計畫的挑選程序將由一組國內外的產業專家主持。

三星說，基金會的受益人將可擁有研究成果的合法權利，以鼓勵研發活動。
